The finest entertainment isn’t remembered because of what happened.
It’s remembered because of how it made people feel.
Throughout Overboard, guests don’t simply watch.
They become part of the experience.
Thoughts are revealed.
Objects appear where they shouldn’t.
Impossible moments unfold only inches from the audience.
One minute the room is filled with quiet concentration.
The next, laughter spreads throughout the yacht as everyone shares another impossible moment together.
Every performance develops differently because every audience is different.
That is precisely what makes each evening unique.
No two yachts are alike.
Neither are the people aboard them.
Some performances become elegant after-dinner entertainment for family and friends.
Others form part of a week-long charter through the Mediterranean.
Sometimes the audience is made up of three generations of the same family.
On another evening, it may be a group of business leaders entertaining clients.
Chris adapts every performance to reflect the atmosphere, pace and personality of the voyage, ensuring the experience feels as though it could only have happened on that yacht, with those guests, on that particular evening.
One of the reasons captains and chief stewardesses appreciate Overboard is its simplicity.
There are no staging requirements.
No complicated technical production.
No lengthy setup.
Chris arrives discreetly, works with the crew to prepare the performance space and is ready to begin within minutes.
When the show concludes, the evening simply continues.
Guests remain together, conversations continue and the memories last long after Chris has stepped back onto the tender.
Many owners and charter guests value privacy above all else.
Chris understands this completely.
As a member of The Magic Circle, discretion is fundamental to every booking.
No guest details are shared.
No yacht names are published without permission.
No photographs are taken unless specifically requested.
The stories belong to those who experienced them.
How long is the show?
Overboard runs for an hour and can go for longer, depending on the grandeur of the grand finale.
Where does the performance take place?
We suggest the main salon for the show as there is generally most space and seating is designed to focus on one area. The aft deck is also a good option, but this will depend on the weather.
How many guests can attend?
The show is designed to be an intimate experience with around 12-15 guests watching, with the occasional captain or chief stewardess joining in. Saying that, the material can play for larger audiences of 30-50 depending on the venue.
Is the show suitable for families?
Yes, not only is it suitable for them, it is designed with them in mind. Adults enjoy the show as much as children and the connection it brings between generations is truly magical.
Do you need any technical equipment?
None at all. Chris brings all that is required for the show, leaving the crew to focus on the guests, or enjoy a well earned rest.
Can the show also be performed ashore?
Yes, the show can be performed anywhere. It has been enjoyed on private beaches, villas as well as on an aeroplane!
